April 2026 Update

Beginning around April 6 and intermittently over the next few weeks, a helicopter will be helping Brink Constructors with construction of the high-voltage transmission lines.

The 347-feet-tall river crossing structures are complete and wire pulling is underway on the new line. Eighty-nine foundations have been completed, and 48 structures are up. Distribution work will be wrapping up in early April, finalizing around 18 miles of distribution work – the largest and most complex distribution relocation project in OPPD history.
