January 2026 Update

Transmission construction continues, primarily north of the Platte River. Our partner, Dietzel, is progressing and pouring many foundations, all north of the river. In fact, 51% of foundations on the north side of the river are currently completed. By the first week of February, all foundations north side of the river are expected to be complete. The foundations along the river crossing are complete.

Distribution construction is South of the river, near 144^th and Mill Road locations. Survey work continues as we prep for modification to distribution along Mill Road.

While wreck-out of the old line continues, our contractor has started hauling poles to the structure locations. The public may notice some heavy trucks and equipment unloading the poles at the structure locations along the roads and in OPPD easements. Please do not enter active worksites and allow plenty of space for crews and equipment.
