February 2026 Update: Segment 2

OPPD is in the pre-construction stage for the North Douglas County Transmission Project, and crews will continue clearing trees and brush from the transmission line easement areas as they prepare the transmission corridor along Segment 2. This work will occur at various times. You will continue to see OPPD and our contractor – Hughes Tree Service and Asplundh – as work progresses.

Safety is a priority. We kindly ask you to be aware of activities happening around you. Please do not enter active worksites and allow plenty of space for field crews and equipment. Thank you for your patience as we make these investments to support reliability and growth across the district.
