Online Community Meetings

Thank you to those who attended our online community meetings on Sept. 29 and 30 about the new natural gas peaking facilities as part of the Power with Purpose project. Our Power with Purpose journey is just beginning. These meetings marked an important step in our journey as it continues with many opportunities for further engagement.  The objectives of these meetings were to:

• Inform about our Power with Purpose project
• Educate about natural gas facilities
• Listen
• Address your questions and concerns
• Commit to ongoing outreach

Some popular topics included facility aesthetics, sound, environmental and wildlife impacts, emissions, property values, technical considerations, construction, how often will it run and many more.
