The utility industry is currently undergoing a great deal of change in an effort to provide new and better ways to deliver affordable, reliable and environmentally sensitive energy services to you, our customer-owners.
From time to time, OPPD’s Board of Directors will call upon customers to provide feedback on specific topics, including those that have to do with OPPD rates. In May 2025, OPPD's Board of Directors discussed a number of proposed rate actions that remove outdated pricing structures and update our meter opt-out rate to better align with our plans for smart meters and costs of offering an alternative meter. These rate actions will be voted on in June. Prior to that vote until June 15, they have welcomed a public comment period for which the public may leave feedback.
